WHY OUR BEAUTIFUL OLIVE OIL IS DIFFERENT
Olive Oil is a crowded market in Australia, with scores of varieties of this wonderful, healthy oil. Some traditional olive oils are robust and often bitter/peppery whilst Plenty Cold Pressed Olive Oil preserves the fruity profile with a very “fruit-forward” bouquet. A local chef, Jason Ford, has described it as being reminiscent of green apples! The cold-pressed oil is being extracted directly from ripe olives (Paragon, Correggiola and Manzanillo) that are picked at an optimal time.
Whilst Plenty’s cold pressed olive oil is a great flavour for dressings and mayonnaise etc., it is also wonderful used within focaccia or pizza dough. Drizzled on fresh crusty bread the taste is amazing! Or drizzled over a pasta dish to add moisture; some use it on pasta almost like an additional sauce.
Cold pressed to retain every ounce of nutritional value, Plenty Cold Pressed Olive Oil is full to the cap with beneficial antioxidants.

And, did you know – every litre of olive oil is the result of trees extracting an average of 10.65kg of carbon from the atmosphere? (1 hectare of the average olive grove neutralises the annual total carbon footprint of a person (From “Extra Virgin Olive Oil production and its role as a healthy and sustainable food. USES AND COOKING TIPS
The best way to enjoy Plenty Cold-Pressed Olive Oil is as a salad dressing or drizzle, preserving the health benefits of a cold-pressed oil. Drizzle it generously over a bed of mixed greens or your favourite vegetables for a burst of freshness and a light touch of Mediterranean charm. The oil’s subtle flavour and smooth texture will enhance the taste of your salads, greens or drizzled over a Margarita pizza or used in vegetable antipasto with eggplant, zucchini, capsicum, mint, oregano and lemon juice. Just delicious! To enjoy the fresh flavour, drizzled over a bocconcini, tomato and basil salad with a squeeze of lemon and freshly ground pepper.
To use as a dip, pour a generous amount of Plenty Cold-Pressed Olive Oil into a shallow dish, sprinkle it with some fresh herbs, spices or pepper, stir a little with a torn piece of very fresh crusty bread and eat as is, perhaps with a selection of quality deli olives on the side. This is a simple yet sophisticated starter or snack for pre-dinner or casual afternoon drinks with friends.
For sauces, Plenty Cold-Pressed Olive Oil is an excellent base. Whether it’s a classic pesto or a salsa verde, the oil’s fresh and fruity notes enhance the textures and let the bolder flavours come through. It’s velvety texture and well-balanced taste will bring all these dishes to life.
Whilst it is always healthier to enjoy Plenty Cold-Pressed Olive Oil uncooked, because of a stable fats profile it is also perfectly fine for cooking, like sautéing vegetables, grilling fish, or lightly frying delicate ingredients. The oil’s stability allows you to achieve optimal culinary results without compromising the health benefits.
